movies, movies, movies…

“you need quiet while a hot dog is singing?!”

“like anyone can even know that.”

“we usually used logs.”

“just think of it as you’re being let go, that your life’s going in a different direction, that your body’s part of a permanent outplacement.”

“this place is a tomb. i’m going to the nut shop where it’s fun.

“once upon a time, on the north shore of Long Island, not far from New York, there was a very very large mansion, almost a castle, where there lived a family by the name of Larrabee.”

“In vain have I struggled, it will not do. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.”

ah… some favorite’s.

  1. Ahh… some nights the only thing you want is a good movie. (A good couch, good company, and good ice cream doesn’t hurt either!)

I’m loving all of the pictures of everyone… HOWEVER, we all (here in PA) want a picture of Brietta (her tummy to be exact!)

    We’re all wondering how #3 is growing… =)

  2. those are def great movies…

    the last one is like the best . . . ahh! . . . mr. darcy . . . such love and such pride in a single sentence . . .

but. the bestest ever is from you’ve got mail, and it isn’t the one you posted about singing hotdogs : )

ahh. it’s a line that . . . well . . . know that feeling when something is so cute that you just get like chills . . . and you almost act like you have something sour in your mouth . . . and you can’t stop smiling? well, that is what the “mr 152” section of you’ve got mail does to me : )

i’m sitting here at three in the morning, my roomates asleep. i hear this clip, and i almost fall out of my chair its so perfect!

    listen to them in order:

    ny152a

    ny152b

mr. one hundred and fifty-two insights into my soul!

  3. i just watched quite a funny Barbra Streisand movie about an hour ago(it was like the only thing on)and there were some great lines, but unfortunately i can’t remember a single one right now. but yes, i’m bored and not tired and i hate hotels.

i kind of wish i was doing nysum right now. but. . .mostly just because i feel like being in new york. not that i don’t love the ministry of it, but right now it’s just like anything to be in new york. i’ll probably go in february, though. and not just because its a way to get to nyc; i really do want to do some missions stuff this winter, and that’s the only thing i can see myself being able to afford. but that had nothing to do with your post. sorry. : )
