a “nothing really” post

An onion and a few cloves of garlic have been chopped. I still don’t know exactly what we’re eating for dinner tonight, but anything good starts with those two items, so we’re heading in the right direction, right?

I was positively giddy when I slipped out of my room at 6:24am this morning only to realize that the world outside had a hint of day already. More daylight = spring is coming, and how I’m itching for spring. And before you hate on me for wishing winter away — it’s because I miss my daily walks. Having a baby in the middle of winter really does prune you of some selfishness very quickly.

I received an email from a very dear friend the other day and was reminded that some only keep tabs on my life via this — my blog — therefore not seeing the updates and photos of my Sunshine Baby that I so faithfully upload to my facebook.

So here, just a few photos from today. He’s so happy and so wonderful and so easy to love.
